An Update From the Editor
Well, I guess first off it's time for a bit of explaining from the team here at the Hirschhorn Intergalactic Herald. It has been quite some time since our most recent post and I would like to take a moment of your time to give you an update on the happenings behind the scenes at the Hirschhorn Herald.
I started the Herald in early 2022 intending to consistently post on the site with the hopes of building my portfolio. At that time, I had very recently graduated from college and had not made many plans for furthering my career.
In May of 2022, this all changed. I had been pursuing a position with Fly Fishers International in Livingston, Montana, a nonprofit organization that’s mission is to protect and preserve all fish in all waters. Following the emergence of this opportunity, I had very little choice but to wholeheartedly accept the opportunity. Following that, I packed up my shit and drove the 22 hours across the country to Bozeman, Montana, and started my position as the membership coordinator for FFI.
Now, this move and readjustment in my life took some time to settle into. Over the past 6 months, I have learned an incredible amount and feel I have grown in leaps in bounds in my professional life. This readjustment period is what I will be attributing the lack of content on this page too.
What To Expect from Here on Out
With that out of the way, I would like to turn your attention to my future plans for this site. The main tenants of content on this website when the idea was originally put into motion were Formula One, Fly Fishing, and Short Stores/Novel Excerpts. All three of these tenants will remain as the core tenants of content on the Hirschhorn Intergalactic Herald. Additionally, it was expressed early in the Hirschhorn Herald’s existence that I would never waver from producing content I was interested in so expect to see other articles out of the three usual tenants.
